Marovasa Be is the creation of famed French film producer Charles Gassot.

Charles Gassot stumbled across the Marovasa Be peninsula while exploring Madagascar for potential film locations.  He instantly fell in love with the Moramba Bay and its islets that bear the weight of giant Baobabs Amoureux (Baobabs in love). For months he explored the region - an area that has remained unspoiled - before finally settling here. Charles spent over 10 years developing the property to fulfill his vision. The house now stands as a haven of a natural elegance, centered around the wellbeing of its guests, who are enticed by adventure and the allures of understated luxury. It is a perfect vacation destination for those who seek an interlude from the glare of the public.

In 2016, Charles passed his dream on to us and we promised him that we would cherish its heritage. Charles still visits from time to time and if you’re lucky you might even find him there.

Today, Marovasa Be belongs to us: a small group of partners from New York, London, Cape Town, Cyprus and Madagascar. It is a treasure we want to share with friends and others who seek exclusivity and privacy.

Come and experience a true paradise.
